A Community Space in the Meadows to Learn, Create & Share
Join us at the Meadows DIY Club, a friendly, hands-on community meet-up where residents come together to share skills, swap tips, and work on DIY projects of their choice.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a confident DIYer, this is your space to learn, create, get inspired and socialise with neighbours.
Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming space with tea and biscuits, friendly faces and plenty of opportunities to learn something new! Plus, if you have any particular tools in mind, you can reserve them for use during the DIY Club session on the Toolshare website here. No deposit required.
Upcoming Sessions - Gardening Special!
Friday 13th Feb, 20th Feb, 27th Feb and 6th March
4pm - 8pm (drop-in or stay the duration!)
Join in our sessions and get involved with some garden-themed DIY which could be useful to you, or as gifts!
Suggested projects include making wooden planters, plant labels and storage boxes. If you have more adventurous ideas, e.g. making a compost box, we are willing to help make it a reality!
As usual, bring your own materials and we'll can see what we can do! We have a limited amount of wood offcuts and fixings which people are free to use. We can only arrange materials for community projects.

What We’ve Been Working On
Every session is open ended, and your projects are up to you. Bring something from home, start something new, or get help building your skills.
Community DIY Project:
Club members recently voted to support a local community initiative by building workbenches for the Men’s Sheds at Meadows Foodbank.
Materials were supplied and everybody worked together to bring the bench to life!
