Meadows residents meet every 1st Saturday of the month at Bridgeway Centre (precinct) to spread some love across the Meadows by litterpicking, planting flowers, tree, growing veg, and adding splashes of colour to the streets.
Coming up:
We have been asked to help out at Victoria School again, so this time we will be meeting there instead of at the Bridgeway Centre.
Meeting Point:
Main Gate of Victoria Primary School at 10am.
Date: 06/06/2026 (this Saturday)
Time: 10am until 12pm.
Jobs:
Painting wooden benches and tables.
Building one more small raised bed.
Trimming and cutting down overgrown greenery.
If you can, please bring:
Appropriate clothes for painting in case it gets messy.
If you have your own secateurs, loppers or pruning saws, please bring them along. The school has some but not too many.
Please bring your own water to drink and any other refreshments you will need.
